Folkrum was Hunter's first band, started in Santa Barbara CA. in late 1998 by he, Matthew Franzen, and Sean Day, playing under the name 'Woven'. In 2001 Matt moved to Portland OR., Hunter soon followed, they built this band, and were the first to record at the newly built Mississippi Studios.
